The Pyrenees Animal Park invites you to experience an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the mountains, on 14 hectares of natural space. Encounter more than 100 wild species, including a superb collection of birds, the four French vultures, large carnivores such as bears, wolves, lynx, as well as otters, large mountain ungulates like ibex and chamois, and the park’s stars: marmots, with whom you’ll share a unique moment. A special area dedicated to French Guiana is also on display, offering an opportunity to explore one of the most biodiverse French departments. Many other surprises await you! Surrounding its small body of water, the leisure center of Arrens-Marsous offers a multitude of leisure and sports activities.
Enjoy a heated outdoor swimming pool with a water slide, hot tubs, aqua gym, and swimming lessons (July and August).
The leisure center, completely renovated and modernized, offers recreational spaces for all ages:
- tennis court, climbing wall, giant marmot statue
- swings, zipline, slackline, mini-trampolines
- pump track, street workout area
- multi-sports field, and petanque courts.
The Mountain Luge allows you to safely ride down the slopes at high speed.
On a two-seater sled, which you can ride alone or with a partner, you control your descent from 10 to 45 km/h by simply operating the brakes to control your speed. Comfortable and safe, this equipment allows you to experience unique sensations.
LES GROTTES DE BETARRAM
The Bétharram Caves are the most beautiful in Europe and certainly the most curious to visit: through their variety, they reveal to visitors the key to the formation of almost all caves, whether they are dead or in full activity.
The visited part of the caves extends over 2.8 km with an impressive difference in altitude of 80 m. The underground course of the river is 3.5 km long.
The visitor enters the mountain through a natural opening: the upper part includes vast rooms rich in concretions.
The chasm connects this level to that of the river. The lower part follows a natural fault, witness to the work of water.
The visitor exits through an artificial tunnel that was dug from 1913 to 1924.
The Bétharram Caves are located in two departments: one enters through Pyrénées-Atlantiques and exits through Hautes-Pyrénées.
Guaranteed thrills in complete safety in a privileged setting. Zip lines, monkey bridges, Nepalese bridges, flying stirrups… around 130 activities spread over 4 hectares.
Everyone will find something to enjoy in the 13 progressively challenging high rope courses, including 4 courses specially designed for children aged 4 and up who measure less than 1.40m.
All courses are 100% secured by continuous lifeline systems: one cannot detach from the beginning to the end of the course.

THE PYRENEES NATIONAL PARK
As you approach the mountains, you enter the Pyrenees National Park. The forest gradually gives way to sparser vegetation in the mountain pastures, and you can observe chamois and marmots (except in winter!). Griffon vultures, bearded vultures, golden eagles, and kestrels gracefully fly over you.
From easy walks accessible to all to high mountain treks, there is something for all tastes and all levels of fitness. The hiking trails in the Val d’Azun are numerous and varied. A true haven of peace with preserved nature, Val d’Azun is a paradise for hiking, ideal for taking a deep breath of fresh air or discovering the mountains. Whether in small villages with preserved architecture or on the slopes of the mountains, there are a thousand and one treasures to discover.

Soar and glide! Experience the sensations of flight and freedom like a bird… Come fly with a paragliding school in the Pyrenees near the Aubisque and Soulor passes or on the Hautacam massif… “À bout d’aile, comme un oiseau” offers tandem flights all year round (starting at 3 years old) as well as courses for all levels (performance training, tandem and instructor training).

COCKT’AILE
The professional paragliding school and its shop have been located in AUCUN since 1990. Monique, a paraglider (since 1982), is a State-certified Free Flight instructor and qualified for tandem flights. Along with Jérôme, another state-certified instructor, she provides tandem flights, coaching for trainees, and equipment sales.
She was selected to train French cosmonauts Jean Lou CHRETIEN and Jean Pierre HAIGNERE for a week.

During the Raid Evasion descent routes (duration 2.5 hours), the cocktail of boats is the flagship product, allowing you to change and enjoy the pleasures provided by our novelties.
You will navigate in Rafting, Mini-raft, Canoe-raft, Aiboat, Kayak, River-Boat (giant self-draining paddle) on the most beautiful rivers of the Pyrenees.
Idyllic and sporty, rafting allows for beautiful family outings or thrilling descents ranging from class II to class V.

Val d’Azun offers mountain bikers a superb area for mountain biking tailored to enthusiasts. This is truly a paradise for off-road cycling. There are trails that can be traveled at a leisurely pace or quickly, depending on your mood, and countless possibilities ranging from easy to the most challenging trails.450 kilometers of marked trails, including a trial track, are there to offer you an unparalleled playground.

CYCLOTOURISM
Popularized by the Tour de France, the Pyrenean cols attract passionate cyclists from all over the world who come to test themselves on their slopes.
The Soulor and Aubisque passes, Tourmalet and Marie-Blanque passes, and the climbs of Hautacam and Luz-Ardiden have passed into history by hosting the yellow jersey.
And there are others, less known but just as demanding, such as the Col de Spandelle, Col des Bordères, and the climb to Ferriere, among others…
